Good afternoon to this afternoon’s live match blog. Attention in the English top flight shifts to the struggle for top-flight safety, with all of the teams in the relegation zone taking to the field at 3pm GMT.
Top-Flight Survival Scrap
Wolves are yet to secure their first win of the season and entertain West Ham, who are a short distance from safety. Burnley, six points adrift of the dotted line, visit a Brighton side mired in a winless run in their last six outings.
Outside of England
There is a lack of EFL action today – a full programme is slated for Sunday – but we do have action north of the border to monitor. The fierce Glasgow derby got under way in the early fixture.
The knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations kick off on Saturday with a last 16 encounter between Senegal and Sudan at 16:00, plus we’ll have live text from domestic matches across the continent.
You are welcome to share your thoughts if you are attending a match or tuned in on television.
