The Liverpool striker, who has been sidelined since 22 October owing to muscle issues, was selected to play in the World Cup games against the Swiss team (15 November) and the Slovenian side (18 November)
Both athletes are among Potter's England-based players chosen by ex- Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham coach the new Swedish coach
Potter was named by Sweden initially on a short-term basis on 20 October, less than a month following his departure from West Ham
Previous boss the Danish coach lost his job following Sweden's setback to the Kosovan team in mid-October, an outcome which rendered direct progression in qualifying group out of reach
Sweden are currently last place in their qualifying group with just one point in their opening four games
Even if they fail to secure second place, there remains a chance they might participate in the World Cup play-offs due to of their performance in the most recent Nations League
